Our Builder Story
Founded in 1984 by Wade McGuinn, McGuinn Homes was created out of a passion to deliver innovative, carefully crafted homes that meet our customers budgets! Starting out as a custom home builder, Wade McGuinn was able to take his technique for custom homes and apply it to community building. With the Your Home, Your Way process, we believe that each homebuyer should have an opportunity to make their home match their lifestyle and dream. When other builders tell you 'no', McGuinn Homes strives to tell you 'yes'! At McGuinn Homes we won't settle for 'industry standard'. Wade McGuinn isn't just a new home builder, he is a South Carolina Master Builder. Our homes aren't 'punched-out, they are Gold Sealed. We don't have canned plans & elevations, we have Award Winning Homes. It is our goal to press beyond our boundaries of what is expected and deliver the unexpected.

It is our goal to provide home buying consumers with the right mix of style and quality at the right price. McGuinn Homes prides itself as a company in identifying the best pieces of infill land and specifically designing the right mix of plans at the right price to offer to our identified target markets.
McGuinn Homes utilizes the Your Home, Your Way process which was designed to give budget minded buyers a custom home feel to their home buying experience. The Your Home, Your Way process allows the homeowner to choose every interior & exterior detail that fits their taste and budget. They are involved in all stages of the new home building process including participation in a preconstruction meeting, predrywall meeting and homeowner orientation. When other builders say "No" McGuinn Homes strives to tell the buyer "YES".
We want to ensure that each of our client's home buying experience is more than writing a contract on a house & moving in after closing. We want it to be an interactive experience where the buyer is an active participant in the design, construction and closing THEIR HOME.

Our mission statement is simple: Quality and Closings. Every Builder promises quality in their new homes, however, at McGuinn Homes we are defining our level of quality with our Gold Seal Promise.
Our commitment to quality doesn't end with our mission statement. Through our Gold Seal Promise we make a commitment to you, as our customer, to provide a superior level of quality in all areas:
- Gold Seal Construction - Each home is built to our Gold Seal standard. Our project manager signs a guarantee that the home is complete and then its inspected by three members of senior management at McGuinn Homes. Once approved, it is assigned the Gold Seal of approval.No home is presented to a homeowner until this process occurs.
- Gold Seal Locations - McGuinn Homes only selects certain pieces of property for "Smart Development" or "Urban Infill". Each tract of land is chosen based on it's proximity to the amenities that matter most to our customers.
- Gold Seal Floor Plans- Each of our homes are designed with our specific customer in mind. No detail is overlooked
- Gold Seal Office and Sales Staff - McGuinn Homes only hires personnel who are 100% focused on the customer and their needs. they have all pledged to uphold the Gold Seal Promise.
