The Lake Carolina Neighborhood is located in the Columbia Northeast just off of Hardscrabble Road. It is easily accessible via Clemson Road, which runs from I-20 (at Exit 80) to I-77 at the Killian Road Exit.
The Lake Carolina subdivision is composed of about 20 different neighborhoods in the entire master plan with home prices that vary depending on the individual neighborhood you choose. Many buyers choose this location in their Columbia home search because of the convenience to the City of Columbia, the many new home construction projects, and the 200-acre lake that is centrally located within Lake Carolina community. There are also a recurring availability of luxury waterfront homes for sale in Columbia. The lake offers fishing, swimming, skiing, sailing and about 6 miles of waterfront properties. There is also an amenity association that offers other activities such as pool swimming if you prefer not to swim in the lake.
Coming from Columbia Take I-20 to Clemson Rd 1 mile turn on Summit Parkway 1.3 miles turn right onto Summit Ridge Drive at light, keep straight through stop signs and enter round about in Lake Carolina Centennial, 3rd exit on round about Lake Carolina Blvd, Layton Way on right
